Auditor General’s strategic plan available to the public
The Office of the Auditor General recently completed its strategic plan for the next five years and has made it publicly available on its website (www.auditorgeneral.gov.ky).
“This strategic plan provides a clear vision of where we want to be in five years and how we plan to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves,” said Auditor General Alastair Swarbrick.
In leading by example, one of the Office’s three strategic objectives, the document entitled “Delivering Value – Strategic Plan 2015 -2019” includes information about the Office and how it intends to deliver the services required by the Public Management and Finance Law. For example, the plan includes a complete performance reporting framework for Legislators and the public to hold the Office to account for how it does its work.
“I am very pleased to make this information public at this time. I plan to use it to drive the work of my Office and ensure we focus our efforts on matters that are important and where we can have the greatest impact,” said the Auditor General.
