PrePress Projects Limited (Editing Services) - Contract Award
On 26th May 2020, the OAG awarded a 3-year contract (for the period 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2022) to PrePress Projects Limited for editing services. The contract is based on an hourly rate and the estimated cost to the OAG is $8,000 a year. The contract was awarded after a joint procurement with the Office of the Ombudsman using the Request for Proposals method.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers (IT audit manager and senior associate) - Contract Award
In March 2020, the OAG awarded a contract for IT auditors temporary staff to PriceWaterhouseCoopers Cayman Islands, following a request for quote method of procurement, where a total of three local accounting firms tendered. The award was based on an hourly rate of US $180 for an IT audit manager, and US $125 for an IT audit senior associate. The estimated cost to the OAG was budgeted within the range of CI $64,706 to CI $79,800.
Due to the COVID 19 lockdown, the contract then awarded did not materialise as intended for the 2019 financial audits due to logistical issues from the lockdown. The OAG decided to honour the March 2020 contract award to PWC Cayman Islands and contracted with PWC in July 2020 for the 2020 audits. The contract period was from 27 July 2020 to 30 April 2021.
